Regional Sales Manager
Sophono, Inc., an entrepreneurial manufacturer of the Alpha 1 Bone Anchored Hearing System, is searching for experienced Regional Sales Managers in the US. Sophono is looking for the best and the brightest, highly motivated individuals. A list of Responsibilities and Qualifications are below.Responsibilities
- Manage all business efforts in a multi-state region
- Meet or exceed sales objectives
- Maintain a database and monthly and quarterly report
- Negotiate, create and manage business agreements with clients when required
- Provide OR, surgical, and audiological training and support
- Effectively convey technical and surgical information to appropriate customers
- Build rapport with customers in a relationship selling environment
- Present information with multiple attendees at seminars and hospitals/clinics
- Attend appropriate medical conferences/trade shows
- Have, or be able to qualify for, Institutional Vendor requirements, e.g. RepTrax
- Possess demonstrable sales skills in the medical device industry
- Be familiar with the auditory industry, (a background in clinical audiology is preferred)
- Have business and professional experience with Otologists, Audiologists and ENTs
- Have knowledge of OR procedures and protocols
- Have the skills to train physicians in the surgical technique and audiologists in the clinical application
- Demonstrate problem solving skills and capacity to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Be self-motivated, possess analytical skills and have the maturity to take initiative
- Work with a minimal amount of supervision from a field based home office
- Possess exemplary written, oral and electronic communication skills
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university/college
- Willing to travel 60% of the time
